ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY
“ Whenever the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, dispatched an army or a brigade, he would tell them, "If you see a mosque or hear the call to prayer (1) do not kill anyone." Footnote: 1. A mosque and the Islamic call to prayer assumes the presence of Muslims among the people they were sent out to encounter (whether on patrol or for defense). The dispatched soldiers should not kill anyone in that area for fear of killing Muslims. ”
Adage is committed to excellence in all its work. Our translators and editors sit a rigorous test before being selected to do their tasks. The work is run by volunteers who dedicate time and effort to spread the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him. While our translation work is done by volunteers, maintaining the website and creating innovative projects to expand the scope of ahādīth requires funds. This is where you can share in the thawāb. We are creating a valuable database defined by high standards and you can play an integral part in the success of this endeavor by sponsoring our work and donating to maintain the continuity and success of the project.
